Melanie R. Giroux has been a member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada since 2004. She completed law school at the University of Ottawa in 2003 and was called to the Ontario Bar in September 2004 following her articles and the Bar Admission Course. Melanie started her career at a boutique litigation firm and later worked at a large National firm until she decided to open her own practice in 2012.
Melanie specializes in the preparation of documents such as wills, powers of attorney and domestic contracts, including cohabitation agreements and marriage contracts. She also provides independent legal advice with respect to those practice areas. Limiting her legal practice to only a few areas of law ensures that she is quite knowledgeable with respect to those particular fields.
Melanie is fluent in both English and French and she can provide full legal services in French.
